Join our Remote Nature School!

OUR MISSION: To inspire a life-long appreciation and love of nature by connecting children with the outdoors. We do this by encouraging families to learn about and explore the natural world together.
Become an Explorer from anywhere in the world!
- What is School of the Wild: Remote Adventures? This is a remote program meaning you will be able to join us on your own schedule from wherever you love to explore with your family or class. Our unique program offers video mini-lessons and learning plans that mirror what we are doing in our on-site School of the Wild Explorers classes. Our remote spring semester begins on 2/16/26 and runs for 10 weeks, but you are welcome to explore at your own pace. Our topic for the 2025-26 school year is Wild Wetlands! Our focus will be on different types of wetland animals this semester.
- Who is this for? Families, co-ops, classes, and schools; Our classes are geared toward ages 7-12 (adaptable for other ages).
- How does it work? On our start day, we will send you a printable student workbook along with your first week of learning plans. Each week, you will also receive a link to a simple nature study video lesson to enhance your studies. Your learning plan will include...
- video mini-lesson
- wetland topic with background information
- word of the week
- nature journaling prompt
- outdoor exploration inspiration
- poetry suggestion
- lesson extension idea
- How much is tuition? Tuition is just $50 per family for the entire semester as we explore wild wetlands together!
Our spring semester enrollment is closed. Enrollment for the 26-27 school year will open in August.
