Join us in Exploring the Underground with these simple and engaging weekly nature study guides. The topic for this year is Karst Landscapes, which includes features such as caves, sink holes, springs, and bluffs. Each week includes an introductory question (and answer), a word of the week, an outdoor exploration plan, a nature journaling prompt, and a way to extend your learning and incorporate a variety of subjects.
These guides follow our Explorers class topics at School of the Wild and are a way for you to bring a bit of our nature school to your home or classroom. We use these topics with ages 7 through 12, and they can be adapted for other ages as well. This year, we are offering these guides free of charge, and we hope you enjoy them.
